Weekly meetings are now held at 7:00 PM on Mondays at Epiphany Catholic Church in Coon Rapids, MN.Boy Scouts of America Troop 524 of Coon Rapids, MN is very proud of the 88 Scouts who have acheived Eagle Scout rank thus far and the many other Scouts who are advancing quickly toward that rank. Our goal is to have 100 Eagle Scouts by our 50th Anniversary in November 2014, and were on track to do so early! We have and do value all our Scouts, ages 11 to 17 of all ranks who add diversity and creativity to our troop.In 1998, Boy Scout Troop 524 received the National Gold Medallion Award, which is presented by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting. It is presented to units that excel at providing the Scouts with quality programs including religious activities, religious emblem opportunities, outdoor activities and special events which encompass religious, vocational and educational aspects of Scouting under the Catholic auspices
